Care Guide
It is important to avoid direct contact with sunlight. If you want to save the artwork, instead of having it exposed, it should be done in a drawer and protected with a tissue paper or any other soft paper.
If you exhibit the artwork in a room, it must be protected by glass or methacrylate with UV protection.
If you want to frame it, the materials must be acid free as well as the passepartout. If the frame is made of wood and is in direct contact with the photo, it must be made of natural wood and without varnish.
Adhesives must also be acid free. If not, any other adhesive could leave yellow marks and deteriorate the support.
The work should never be touched directly with the hands in order to avoid leaving traces of grease or moisture. You have to touch it with cotton gloves like the ones that we enclose inside the package.
Do not screw the photograph back on after it has been removed from the tube in case you have received it like that.
Store the work in a cool, dry place preferably at a room temperature between 10º and 30º with a relative humidity between 49% and 60%.
If you have acquired more than one photograph, they should never be touched between them since the surface is very sensitive. You should always put a tissue paper or, at least, another soft paper between the both of them.

The story
Experience is a Graphite Pencil Female Figure Artwork that was initially created as a simple practice of the Academic Drawing Technique taught in 19th Century Ateliers. The work is based on the Sculpture: The Spirit Dance by Taiwanese Master Sculptor and artist Gaylord Ho, at the time I was fascinated with learning this drawing technique, because I feel a great love for Realistic Style Art.
However, during the process of its creation it became a Personal Confession: A confession about an Orgasm…
When I am creating a Work of Art or practicing some Painting Technique, I usually set up my art easel, light a cigarette, pour myself a glass of wine and put on some music… For me, music is like a channel that connects me with my inner world and helps me let my ideas flow… I remember that day I put on a song called: Stranger / Lover by the band Ibeyi that definitely reminded me of him, and it was then that I understood that it hadn’t been a coincidence that I chose the sculpture of a woman dancing to “recreate” it, it was my unconscious speaking to me, an Experience that asked to be materialized.
Experience is about an orgasm…an orgasm I haven’t felt in a long time…with that Lover/Stranger I only saw once…
This Graphite Pencil Female Figure Artwork talks about those fleeting encounters that you think are just that, but then you realize that they removed your insides and made you feel what you hadn’t felt for a long time.
Another detail that I must confess is that until the day I am writing this review of the work I gave myself the task of thoroughly investigating the work of Gaylord Ho, because being honest and as I said at the beginning, I did not intend to do more than a practice, I found the original photo on pinterest and that’s it, let’s get to work!
It was not an ArtWork that I planned to make public, but later everything changed and of course, if it is a piece based on the work of another artist, he should be mentioned in this text, reading about his work, Ho’s sculptures represent the ideal human spirit in all of us as we strive to transcend the daily struggles of life and to become something more spiritually divine.
The beauty of his figures lifts us and gives us encouragement to continue in our efforts to excel and surpass our greatest dreams.
And I think that, “accidentally” his work has everything to do with the one I created, when we are present and willing to experiences in life, in this specific case referring to sex, the orgasm for me, could be a spiritual dance through which the human being can have one of the most transcendental mystical experiences of their existence. It is about that pleasure that is lived beyond the body, the pleasure of sharing yourself entirely with the other and that connects us with the divine, like Ho’s sculptures.
With that orgasm that his body gave me, and that only once was enough to turn my world upside down.
“Experience” leaves me with a very important reflection: With enough attention, every experience becomes HOLY.
